NASW

In February 2015, I was awarded a Travel Fellowship by the National Association of Science Writers to attend the AAAS meeting in San José, CA. As part of the Fellowship, I wrote a note on Karl Deisseroth’s work: optogenetics and CLARITY.

In October 2016, the National Association of Science Writers awarded me again a Travel Fellowship to attend ScienceWriters 2016 in San Antonio, TX. I wrote about a session that tackled how disabled people are portrayed in the media.
